Kirill’s EP “As Days Went By” is a unique mix of electronic dance music, guitar, and different styles like 70’s funk, 80’s punk, and 90’s techno. He draws inspiration from both old and new music, such as Nicholas Jaar’s label. This makes his music difficult to categorize, but it’s exciting to listen to. Kirill moved from Moscow to the UK when he was 12 years old. He played music in various bands, such as metal and funk. When the lockdowns occurred in 2020, he had ample time to experiment with new musical ideas on his own. This time helped him create his EP “As Days Went By”, which has four tracks and shows off his many musical talents and influences.

The EP “As Days Went By” has different types of songs. One song, “Greenfield (On Fire)”, is slow and has a dreamy quality, similar to the band Boards of Canada. Another song, “Brainstoppers”, is faster and has a catchy guitar part and electronic beats. Marcus Papageorgiou at AV Playroom Studios in Cyprus made the EP sound good, and Vlad Isaev, also known as Scann-Tec, further refined it. Kirill worked hard on his music, perfecting every detail. He even made the album cover and the music video for “Brainstoppers” himself, which makes the project feel more personal and unique. He cares about his music and wants it to be exceptional.
