Kelsie Kimberlin returns to her pop roots with Clumsy Girl, a bright, uplifting single that leans into vulnerability and self-acceptance. Clumsy Girl captures the feeling of stumbling through life while still holding onto ambition and joy. Rather than framing mistakes as failures, the track reframes them as part of growth, giving listeners an easy, melodic reminder that confidence can coexist with imperfection.
Production-wise, Clumsy Girl benefits from an impressive international collaboration. Recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy-nominated producer Sean P. Jones, the track also features contributions from Pedro Vengoechea in Colombia and Vasyl Tkach in Czechia, adding subtle global textures. Final polish comes from Grammy-winning mixer Liam Nolan and mastering engineer Stuart Hawkes, giving the single a clean, radio-ready sheen that balances polished pop energy with emotional warmth.
The music video for Clumsy Girl extends the song’s message into a more cinematic space, filmed in Kyiv during a period of ongoing conflict. Directed by Ukrainian filmmaker Pavlo Khomiuk, it portrays a tender relationship between two young women navigating uncertainty while still finding connection and lightness. The production’s backdrop of real-world tension adds emotional weight, underscoring themes of resilience, love, and the persistence of everyday life even under extreme circumstances.
Beyond the single, Kelsie Kimberlin stands out as an artist with a rapidly growing international profile, shaped by years of studio discipline and cross-continental collaboration. Her work spans humanitarian themes and mainstream pop, earning both critical attention and a large global audience. With a catalog of over 100 original songs and multiple viral projects tied to Ukraine, she continues to balance artistry with advocacy. Clumsy Girl ultimately feels like a return to joy, offering a hopeful contrast to her recent work while maintaining emotional sincerity and strong production values that continue to resonate deeply with listeners worldwide.
